Course Start Dates

The Certificate level can be started on any unit, so for classroom based courses, delegates can start in September, January and April. Online distance learning can be started at anytime.

Pricing

Certificate level courses start from £330.00 per unit for online distance learning and £600.00 per unit for face to face classes. This does not include your CIM membership or assessment fees but does include study material access for 3 years.

Assessment

The course is assessed via three modules; two of which are mandatory (Marketing and Integrated Communications) and two elective modules (Customer Experience and Digital Marketing) of which delegates must complete one. For syllabus details please click here.

Marketing – 2 hour, 50 question multiple choice examination

Integrated Communications – 12 page work-based assignment

Customer Experience – 12 page work-based assignment

There are three exam boards each year in December, April and June. You will need to book your examinations directly with CIM with an exam centre convenient to you. For students wishing to take the examination outside the UK, there may be an extra local charge. There are strict booking deadlines enforced by CIM but we will remind you of these.

For the Marketing module, you will be asked to submit homework and complete a mock exam so that you are fully prepared for the assessment. For the assignment based units (Integrated Communications and Customer Experience), you will work with an experienced personal tutor who will guide you through the process and answer your queries. You will also need to work to an internal timetable so we can review your project before submission to CIM. You will need to produce evidence that you have reached the learning outcomes via a selection of digital tasks and will have a personal tutor to guide you.
