Classroom tuition
Exam and Assignment students may continue to attend classroom lectures until they pass, but an additional Assignment Tuition fee of £100 is payable each time a request for an assignment tutor is made, or an assignment is submitted for marking. CIM exam fees are payable for all re-sits. Access to Blackboard, our on-line student learning system, and free exam revision are available until you pass. The case study is charged at half price.
Distance learning
Most distance learners should complete each level within 12 months but we will provide support for up to 24 months.
Books
For UK-based students who choose the Distance Learning Programme option, Butterworth Heinemann support texts are supplied for each module. Overseas students will receive equivalent on-line access.
Blackboard - our unique virtual campus

International students
You will need to have a high standard of written English to complete your studies. If English is not your first language, the College will require written evidence that you will be able to complete the work (such as achievement of English Language competency IELT level 6.5 or above). A language test may be required. Should your assignments require corrected English, you will be charged an additional £50 an hour for the services of our special English tutor.
Additional support
We offer additional support services for students who wish to enhance their learning with additional support. These options are particularly useful for those students who may get behind or need to defer for a period, or for those who wish to work more closely with a tutor on a one-to-one basis.
Additional special tutor
Although homework is marked regularly, some students like to have their own additional Special Tutor, who will be able to provide diagnostic marking, strengthen theoretical knowledge and provide exam techniques, at a cost of £50 per hour.
Assignment option
Assignment marking and tuition is arranged on a class basis. If you fall behind with your work schedule, do not complete the assignment during the period you attend class, you will need to attend classes again for that module and take the assignment the following year.
Cancellations
Once an invoice has been raised, it must be honoured. For employer funded students an invoice will be raised on receipt of application form.
Upon application, self-funded students are required to either pay in full or pay an initial instalment of £350 prior to the invoice being raised.
Cancellations may be made up to 30 days after receipt of application form. A full refund will be made less a cancellation fee of £75 plus VAT. Cancellations after that date will not be eligible for a refund although student substitutions may be allowed.

Unless otherwise specified, fees include all course materials and learning support. They do not include CIM membership and assessment fees, which are payable to the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Fees do not include VAT (VAT is not charged outside the UK) or text books (unless otherwise shown).
