Bernie Waters BA Hons DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer
Bernie is a Chartered Marketer and CIM Examiner for Project Management in Marketing. More a practitioner in marketing than an academic, Bernie is currently a Business Development Manager responsible for sales and marketing and previously worked sales management in both the private and public sectors.
His focus has primarily been the B2B environment selling capital equipment (hardware and software systems) to end users and distributors for many years, before moving into training and staff development and most recently specialist health support services.
Previous experience ranges from direct sales, channel distribution, key account management and marketing. All roles required the use of project management skills to some degree primarily to ensure the client was delighted with their purchase. This lead to the decision to gain a qualification in Strategic Project Management during 2005-6.
