Jane Adrain BAgr, MBA, MCIM, is an independent Business Planning and Marketing Consultant with over 30 years’ experience. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM) and was awarded Chartered Marketer Status in July 2014.
Jane spent the first 16 years of her career in the marketing departments of blue chip corporates (Nationwide Building Society, MSD Agvet, Northern Bank). Following that Jane worked for a time as a consultant in the Education sector in Northern Ireland, advising on the re-launch of a secure learning platform throughout the Northern Ireland Education and Library Boards.
For the last 8 years Jane has worked as an independent marketing consultant and trainer, working with various SMEs and start-up businesses helping them to identify their business needs and formulate business/marketing plans to take advantage of opportunities available to them. She has worked on a number of mentoring programmes for several local Councils and for the Department of Agriculture’s Countryside Agri-Rural Partnership.
Jane has been a Tutor for the Chartered Institute of Marketing modules since 2012, working first with the Marketers Forum in Belfast and latterly with the Oxford College of Marketing as a distance learning Assignment Support Tutor.
Jane has worked with a number of Not-for-Profit organisations and is currently on the board of Action Cancer, Northern Ireland’s leading local Cancer Charity.
