Stephen HumphreyStephen Humphrey is an extremely bright, articulate and engaging individual with extensive knowledge of lecturing and senior management both within the private and state UK education sectors.

He welcomes new challenges and his enthusiasm for education and learning is clearly evident. Students and staff alike warm immediately to his style of teaching and have great respect for the way in which he manages his day to day teaching and development activities.

His ability to convey simple concepts, as well as more advanced ideas to both students and senior teams has ensured Stephen a respected and senior role in education. As such, he is driven to ensure that his own skills and knowledge are always up-to-date and as a result he continues to pursue his doctoral studies at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden and to advance his knowledge of the Renewable Energy sector, a passionate interest, Stephen undertakes additional studies at Cranfield University.

In addition, Stephen has extensive experience within the fields of operational and strategic marketing at both domestic and international levels. Much of his work within this field was undertaken with Nokia and his early background within the field of engineering, IT and technology has enabled him to directly understand the business related concepts associated with marketing and management and apply these in practice in order to get the best from the team he works with and to ensure continued high performance of the organisation in which he works.

He also has experience of working in the entertainment industry; primarily in the TV/film and gambling industries and is a trained croupier. For fun, Stephen enjoys being on the water and is hopeful of being picked to join the crew for the ‘Clipper Round the World Yacht Race’ in 2014/15.  In the meantime, he continues to train hard.
