By applying to study with Oxford College of Marketing you confirm that you have understood and accepted the following points:

By submitting the application form will confirm that you have understood and accepted the following points:

  1. The college will advise you on your course entry point and upon application you will need to supply the name of the person at Oxford College of Marketing who has verified your entry level.
  2. CIM registration and exam / assignment fees must be paid direct to CIM.
  3. Payment of Oxford College of Marketing fees should be made prior to the commencement of the course. Details of How to Make Payment can be found at Payment Options. Fees do not include a textbook unless it is specifically stated.
  4.  Please note that Self-funded students are required to pay either in full or an initial instalment. This initial instalment is £470 payable upon application or 14 days prior to the course starting.  Upon receipt of payment, the place will be confirmed and an invoice raised either for the outstanding balance or confirming receipt of payment in full. No tuition, books, access to the virtual campus will be provided until full or initial payment has been received by the college. Self funded students may elect for the payment plan (see How to Pay)
  5. Payment by credit card is subject to a 3% card handling fee
  6. Fees are not refundable and a registration can only be cancelled within 30 days of the application having been accepted by Oxford College of Marketing. Oxford College of Marketing reserves the right to cancel a course or change a schedule for any course in which case all students will be given due notice and given the option of change or cancellation. In cases of cancellation of a course by Oxford College of Marketing prior to beginning a course a full refund will be given.
  7. Once an invoice has been raised, it must be honoured. For employer funded students an invoice will be raised on receipt of application form. Self-funded students are required to either pay in full or pay an initial installment of £470 upon application, prior to the invoice being raised. Cancellations may be made up to 30 days after receipt of application form and a full refund will be made less a cancellation fee of £75 plus VAT.
    Cancellations after that date will not be eligible for a refund although student substitutions may be allowed.
  8. The formation and continuation of a class is dependent on an adequate number of student enrolments. Should other circumstances beyond the control of the College interfere with the service delivery of the College, Oxford College of Marketing will take all reasonable steps to minimise the disruption to students.
  9. Oxford College of Marketing reserves the right to revise tuition fees at any time.
  10. Oxford College of Marketing reserves the right to refuse any bookings.
  11. All materials provided by Oxford College of Marketing are the property of the college.
  12. Oxford College of Marketing accepts no liability to provide extra tuition because of the absence of a student but will do their best to support the student in their absence.
  13. Students must show a professional attitude to their studies. This will involve completing the work assigned to them to do at home and to return it to their tutors on time.
  14. Oxford College of Marketing encourages the sharing of experience and expertise. Therefore any work provided by students may be displayed and shared as an example of good practice.
  15. Full participation is the key to good performance. The College realises that marketing students very often have busy professional lives. It is on the basis of this understanding that the course has been designed. However, if you are ill or away because of your commitments at work please call or e-mail us to let us know. This is especially important if your employers are paying for your course.
  16. The Oxford College of Marketing brochure contains information that we hope will be useful to you. However, information may go out of date, course outlines and certain teaching staff may change, and we cannot accept liability for the consequences of any inaccuracy.
  17. While every care is taken to ensure that any advice given to students is correct, Oxford College of Marketing cannot accept responsibility for any loss, etc., however arising from the implementation of that advice.
  18. It is a condition of enrolment that a student agrees to:
    • Take care of the health and safety of themselves and any other person who may be affected by his acts or omissions.
    • To co-operate with all members of staff in maintaining the requirements of the health and safety at work (1974) act.
    • To not interfere with, intentionally or recklessly, nor to misuse anything provided in the interests of safety.
  19. Oxford College of Marketing accepts no liability for injury or accident however caused whilst in attendance at Oxford College of Marketing at Oxford Brookes University, University of Reading, University of Brighton, Sheffield Hallam University, Liverpool Hope University College or at any other site.
  20. Access to the Student Learning System is provided to enrolled students only. You are required to keep your user name and password confidential and not share access to the system with any non enrolled student. Access rights to the system may be taken away if this is not adhered to.
  21.
