Online learning CIM course study options
The Online learning route that allows everyone to study for their CIM qualifications the Oxford College of Marketing way, wherever you live, whatever your circumstance and however busy your life is! With our unique Online Blackboard Student Learning System and our distance learning support team you really can progress through the CIM qualifications at your own pace and around your life!
You will study each level in a flexible manner in a way that suits you, using our Online system together with the Distance Learning Manager and a wide range of professional marketers who will work with you on your assignments/exam preparation . If you need someone to be there just when you need them or if you need someone to keep you on a very strict timetable to ensure you meet your own personal goals we will be there! We offer a special telephone hotline at certain times of the week and an e-mail query service.
The length of study time naturally depends on a number of factors. It is unlikely that a module can be completed in less than 45 hours study. We recommend that you put aside at least 4 to 6 hours a week for the duration of each module. For a module delivered over 10 weeks, that will involve 40 to 60 hours. Additional time may well be needed nearer the exams in order to consolidate your learning (if applicable).
Online Learning - Admission process
As part of our admissions process we invite prospective students to meet our Centre Managers. This gives us time to get to know and understand your training needs, and to make sure you are on the right level course.
Online Learning - Booking and queries
We believe in the importance of developing long-term professional relationships with our students and we do like to discuss the options, courses and costs with you before you start our programmes. We therefore have a selection of open evenings across our centres throughout the year, alternatively we can chat through the options on the phone.

Online Learning students come from all over the UK, for example, Cheltenham, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Bristol, and London.
Online marketing courses for Non-native English speakers
Our students come from all over the world - even as far away as the Falklands and Argentina, Dubai, China, Russia, Poland Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and of course the rest of Europe.
If your first language is not English you will need to have a high standard of written English and the college may require some written evidence that you will be able to complete the work.
Study Marketing with blended learning - Combining Online training with intensive weekends
You may want to combine distance learning with our intensive weekends if you would like the security of covering the syllabus in a class with a tutor before you start and if you can reach any of our UK weekend centres.
Gatwick may be the best option for overseas students.
Additional Benefits
Students who enrol on a CIM course with us, will on request, be able to access extra free materials from our specialist learning materials used for the Digital modules on the Diploma in Digital Marketing and Diploma in Managing Digital Media courses on our Blackboard at no additional charge. These courses will be launched in January 2010. This will enable all our students on our CIM courses to keep up to date with what is happening in the Digital field. After completing their CIM courses with us, our students can then go on and complete their Digital qualifications by registering for the Digital Diploma assignments with us when they are ready.
