Chartered Institute of Marketing courses in Reading

Reading is the business hub of the Thames Valley, which is itself the high-tech centre of the UK. The days of the traditional local trades of "Beer, Biscuits and Bulbs" as epitomised by Courage, Huntley & Palmers and Suttons have largely gone - although Courage brewers still have a magnificent site beside the M4.

With this history and this future it is no surprise that Reading became Oxford College of Marketing's second centre. We have full classes here every year with students from telecoms giants, privatised utilities and a vast variety of smaller organisation, as the Thames Valley's thriving business community ensures it stays ahead of the game.

We are delighted to use the premises of The University of Reading which is one of the top 20 most research-intensive universities in the UK, and a major contributor to the knowledge economy, itself.

We use rooms on the beautiful 320 acre Whiteknights parkland campus and we are usually based in the newly refurbished and fantastically equipped Palmer building in the heart of this campus.

Reading and the University is extremely accessible from the whole of the Thames Valley - stretching from West London to the other side of Swindon and is therefore very easy to get to from Heathrow Airport for overseas students, although they mat prefer the Gatwick site. Road and rail access is very good from all directions.
