Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing Results
Course Structure
The Certificate in Profession Digital Marketing is made up of three modules; Applied Marketing (mandatory), Planning Campaigns (mandatory) and Digital Marketing Techniques. The units can be studied in any order and the elective module selected will determine the qualification you gain. You can download the full syllabus here.
Two modules within the qualification (Planning Campaigns and Digital Marketing Techniques) are assessed by a work-based assignment, including a portfolio. You will work with your allocated personal tutor, who will assist you in addressing any questions you have as well as providing feedback on a plan and draft assessment you produce.
The Applied Marketing unit within this qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination. To support students for this assessment, we ask you to submit homework and mock exam to help you prepare for the exam. This will also require you to book your examination with the CIM at a local exam centre. For students who wish to take their exam outside of the UK, there may be an additional charge for this
Planning Campaigns
This is a mandatory module across both the Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing and Certificate in Professional Marketing. It is designed to give you the required knowledge and skills to implement effective marketing campaigns. The module will equip you with the skills to undertake a successful campaign audit before setting suitable campaign objectives. You will learn how to develop effective campaign tactics, integrating online and offline media, as well as how to measure campaign success. This unit is assessment through a practical work-based assignment.
Applied Marketing
This module is mandatory across both Level 4 Certificate qualifications. The unit will provide you with an understanding of the key theories within marketing and the role it has within an organisation. You will gain a practical understanding of how to capture information and research to make better marketing decisions as well as how the marketing mix can be applied and adapted to suit a range of businesses. The marketing module is assessed through a multiple-choice examination.
Digital Marketing Techniques
Digital Marketing Techniques is an elective module for the CIM Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. The module is designed to build your knowledge of digital tools and techniques as well as how they can be applied in practice. Students will learn how to successfully integrate online and offline media as well as develop an effective digital marketing plan. This module is assessed by a work-based portfolio assessment.
