For all delegates who apply and pay (or start their payment plans) for their course before 31st August 2019, we are offering online access to our Project Management Fundamentals Qualification from the Association for Project Management. The course gives an introduction to project management skills which are invaluable while you are juggling a busy life / studying and also in wider marketing roles. This course comprises three modules; Applied Marketing (mandatory), Planning Campaigns(mandatory) and Customer Insights (elective). The modules can be studied in any order and the elective module selected will determine the qualification you gain.
Two out of the three modules are examined by a work-based assignment. Students work with one of our expert tutors, who will guide you through the assignment process and the study timetable. Your tutor will assist you across the assignment cycle, answering any questions you have and providing feedback on a plan and draft submission.
Applied Marketing is assessed by a multiple-choice examination. For this module, students are requested to submit homework and complete a mock exam to assist in preparation for the exam. This module will require you to book your examination with the CIM at a local exam centre. For students who wish to take their exam outside of the UK, there may be an additional charge for this.
Campaign planning is an important part of a marketing role. This mandatory module will enable you to gain the knowledge and skills to plan and implement successful campaigns, using a variety of online and offline media. You will learn how to undertake a situation analysis to frame your campaign as well as how then to set suitable campaign objectives. The module will also provide you with the skills to implement and monitor campaign success. This unit is assessed by assignment.
Applied Marketing is a mandatory module across both the Certificate in Professional Marketing and Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. The module is designed to provide students with a knowledge of the role marketing plays within an organisation as well as enabling you to understand key marketing concepts and theory. You will gain an understanding of how to apply the marketing mix in a range of scenarios and how it can be adapted to suit customer needs and business goals.
This is an elective module for the Certificate in Professional Marketing. This assignment-based unit will enable you to gain an understanding of changing consumer behaviour and how to create a customer experience to meet buyer needs. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the customer journey as well as how to measure and monitor it to make improvements in the future.
