Free Project Management Qualification

All delegates who choose to undertake their CIM or CIPR qualifications with us, will have the option of studying a free project management qualification as well. Delegates can choose between either the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification* (PFQ), the AgilePM Foundation or the PRINCE2 Foundation.

These courses provide a great introduction to project management skills, which tie in nicely to wider marketing roles. If you would like to gain the full project management qualification, you will just need to pay the assessment and/or book fees associated with your chosen course.

Planning Campaigns

Campaign planning is an important part of a marketing role. This mandatory module will enable you to gain the knowledge and skills to plan and implement successful campaigns, using a variety of online and offline media. You will learn how to undertake a situation analysis to frame your campaign as well as how then to set suitable campaign objectives. The module will also provide you with the skills to implement and monitor campaign success. This unit is assessed by assignment.

Applied Marketing

Applied Marketing is a mandatory module across both the Certificate in Professional Marketing and Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing.  The module is designed to provide students with a knowledge of the role marketing plays within an organisation as well as enabling you to understand key marketing concepts and theory. You will gain an understanding of how to apply the marketing mix in a range of scenarios and how it can be adapted to suit customer needs and business goals.

Customer Insights

This is an elective module for the Certificate in Professional Marketing. This assignment-based unit will enable you to gain an understanding of changing consumer behaviour and how to create a customer experience to meet buyer needs. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the customer journey as well as how to measure and monitor it to make improvements in the future.

Entry Level Requirements

The Certificate in Professional Marketing is equivalent to a foundation degree and is designed for marketing assistants and executives or those with marketing as part of their job role.

Most students who study at this level have either a relevant Level 3 qualification or have worked in a marketing role for at least a year.

Course Start Dates

The Certificate in Professional Marketing modules can be studied in any order. For classroom-based courses, delegates can start in September, January or May, while online distance learning can be started at any time.
