If you have no formal qualifications or are entirely new to marketing, then the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing could be the course for you. This qualification can be completed in six months and will enable students to continue along a digital pathway, progressing to the Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing, then to the Diploma in Professional Digital Marketing and finally the Marketing Leadership Programme, gaining Chartered Marketer status.

Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing Results
Course Structure
The Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing compromises of one mandatory and one elective unit and these can be studied in any order. The elective unit selected will determine the final qualification you receive.
The elective module in this qualification is assessed by a practical work-based portfolio. You will be assigned a personal tutor, who will support you to complete your portfolio. Your tutor will also provide you with feedback on both a plan and draft of your portfolio as well as answering any queries you might have.
The mandatory module is assessed by multiple-choice examination, which can now be sat entirely only via remote proctoring. We will help you prepare for the exam by asking you to submit homework as well as completing a mock exam.
Marketing Principles
Marketing Principles is the mandatory module for both the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing and the Foundation Certificate in Professional Marketing. This unit provides students with the knowledge of basic marketing theory and practice. Students will develop an understanding of the marketing environment, consumer behaviour as well as the marketing mix.
The Marketing Principles module is assessed by a multiple-choice examination, which can now be booked and sat entirely online via remote proctoring.
Digital Fundamentals
This module is an elective module for the Foundation Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing. Digital Fundamentals will provide students with a practical understanding of the key concepts in digital marketing. You will learn how digital technologies affect consumers as well as how digital tools and content can be implemented by organisations to meet changing consumer needs. This module is assessed by a digital portfolio (written assessment).
