Fiona is a fully qualified CIM Marketer with over 20 years’ experience in marketing across B2B, B2C, FMCG, and Charity sectors.
Her experience covers NPD development, strategic planning and business case development, marketing communications on big and small brands using advertising, promotional tactics, and digital marketing. Most of Fiona’s career has been within the FMCG industry; focused on drinks, food, and pharmaceuticals, although she started off in B2B marketing within the gases and consultancy sectors.
Within this time Fiona has enjoyed developing and implementing marketing plans for several key brands such as Smirnoff, Imodium and Birds Eye amongst others. Her work in the charity sector with Cancer Research UK involved marketing strategies and plans for new ‘ground-breaking’ fundraising ideas, while also pilot launching those with the most potential.
Fiona is now developing her career in professional academia and marketing excellence L&D capability. She has recently worked as Marketing Capability manager for Britvic and currently tutors postgraduate students in the CIM qualifications part-time. She also covers the role of subject examiner for Integrated Marketing Communications & Stakeholder Relationships at ABE and work as a business lecturer within further education.
