Fiona Wood has been a member of CIPS for more than 20 years and was awarded her fellowship (FCIPS) in 2012. Fiona completed her CIPS studies via the exam route early in her career.

Currently Fiona leads a team of school based business educators covering Economics and Business Studies at GCSE and A-level. Prior to teaching, Fiona worked in procurement, both in directs and indirects for many High Street brand organisations including Staples Office Superstore, Debenhams, Top Man and the Sears Clothing Group. Most recently Fiona created and lead a highly professional procurement team at Yell,  the consumer directory business. Fiona has experience of leading new procurement operations as well as developing and executing transition plans for teams moving into new business units. Fiona pioneered the supplier communications programme and supplier awards programme within the Yell group, demonstrating her passion for supplier engagement and how this can drive significant benefits for both buyers and sellers.

Fiona is a graduate of Surrey University and was awarded an MBA in 2001 for studies into business innovation and change.

Fiona is a passionate believer in the benefits of education and works with OxCom as Course Level Manager to support CIPS students in their studies.
