Liz Hawkins is a strategic marketing practitioner, with over 20 years of marketing and business experience, working mainly in travel and tourism but recently has moved to Fintech.
Liz works as an independent consultant and is a lecturer at the University of Brighton. She is passionate about digital communications and strategic planning.
Liz began her career after University as a Corporate Bowling Sales Manager, but, quickly realised her dream career was in travel. Starting with a job in flight sales, quickly moving to product management and then to Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing. Her career in travel has seen her work for luxury travel operators such as Centurion Travel, ITC and Sovereign Luxury Holidays, before taking the role of Head of Marketing for Specialist Products for TUI Travel. She now runs her own consultancy focusing on strategic planning for fintech businesses looking to scale up. She specialises in digital and social media marketing.
When not working, Liz is a keen scuba diver and sup boarder. She became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 1994.
