Peter Baynes is a B2B marketing practitioner, with over 20 years of marketing and business experience, working on both client and agency side.
He now works as an independent consultant, and is part of the network of Watertight Marketing Accredited Consultants working with small to medium sized owner-managed businesses build and execute effective marketing operations.
He began his career in as a meteorologist, and in the late 1980s and early 1990s he managed commercial weather service operations, providing and developing information services to various industries, including aviation, offshore energy, media and construction. After studying marketing with the CIM, he worked in various marketing and product development roles including ten years, as co-founder and operations director of a marketing agency, providing sales lead generation and marketing services to software and technology companies across a wide variety of industry sectors.
He became a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2004.
