Phil Gray, MA, BA (Hons), MCIM, Chartered Marketer
Phil has been teaching across the CIM Certificate, Professional Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma qualifications since 2010. He is a university business school lecturer and module leader for digital business and marketing, as well as a tutor for the Oxford College of Marketing.
Phil has 35 years’ wide-ranging experience as a marketing practitioner (including 15 years at director level) in strategy and campaign planning across marketing and business development, corporate communications, and public relations. This experience has been gained in large and small service-based organisations in several sectors including, financial services, professional services, the quasi-public sector, and membership organisations. He has also been a partner in a small direct mail business.
In his practitioner roles, Phil has led the development and transformation of marketing functions, building marketing suppliers networks, developing and delivering customer growth and managing product development initiatives. As a member of executive leadership teams, he has been involved in the development of business strategy and management of business plans and responsibility for the strategic risk register.
