Roger Christiansen is both a freelance consultant in Marketing Strategy and marketing and digital communications and also a part-time lecturer at Abingdon & Witney College where he teaches Computing and Business.
He has spent most of his career as a senior marketing professional working in hi-tech companies big and small; from local startups like Research Machines to global brands such as IBM and Ricoh. My main interest is in transforming business through better marketing – looking beyond the tactical to seek strategic, long term solutions. In my career I’ve been involved in taking new technologies to market including 1 of the first global e-learning solutions to high speed print on demand colour inkjet in the books market.
Since 2016 Roger has been building a new career as a lecturer and freelance consultant, working on a variety of projects with local and national companies including ghost-writing industry reports to Marketing Strategy development.
Roger holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Cambridge, CIM Diploma in Marketing and Level 3 Award in Education and Training, City and Guilds.
