Sandra Thompson got hooked on marketing as a student on her placement year 26 years ago when she was given the opportunity to undertake some marketing tasks. Since graduating Sandra has worked in commercial and not-for-profit environments in senior roles for brands such as Avios, bmiregional, National Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support. More recently Sandra launched her own consultancy helping businesses to improve the experiences they provide for customers. Working as a consultant with Vodafone, Arsenal FC, Aldermore Bank, Network Rail and Open University, Sandra has learned a great deal she now wants to share with students to help them improve the way they ‘do’ marketing in their own roles.
Sandra’s Masters focused on strategic marketing communications and the influence of emotional intelligence to effectively deliver powerful brands. She also holds a number of Customer Experience qualifications.
