Sarah Hillas is an experienced global marketer with a strong track record in both building brands and developing the skills of marketing teams. She believes the former is every bit as important as the latter; while sophisticated training techniques play their part, success ultimately depends on the marketing knowledge of the people applying them.
She developed her marketing skills at Johnson & Johnson Ltd, building some of their most iconic brands: Johnson’s Baby, Neutrogena, Clean & Clear. She was a founder member of the J&J Marketing Excellence team responsible for global capability building, and ran workshops in over 30 countries on four continents.
She co-founded Passionbrand Progress Ltd, a specialist consultancy focused on building the skills and capabilities of marketers and enjoyed the diversity and challenge working with global clients including Avon, Pfizer consumer healthcare, Schroders, and training the marketing syllabus for Oxford Summer school (now Oxford Royale Academy).
