- Copywriting in the commercial context and understanding different copywriting styles.
- Developing a business-focused process for copywriting, including writing briefs, drafts, reviewing and proof reading.
- Researching and planning copy – knowing your product/service, translating features into benefits and understanding tone.
- Writing your copy – advice on headings, structure, call-to-action
- Promoting your copy – understanding how to distribute copy through different digital channels.

Your Trainer: Dawn Baird
Dawn Baird is a Partner in Northern Ireland communication consultancy, Sensei. Following an early career working in IT, then in the design and delivery of management and communication skills workshops, Dawn and her husband established Sensei in 2006.
Dawn is obsessed with helping organisations translate their industry’s jargon in order to communicate their marketing messages clearly to clients and customers. She works remotely with international enterprises and their teams from San Francisco to Istanbul. Her work includes planning and developing marketing content, workplace and academic learning and highly technical materials.
