Practical applications of data analytics and using tools to analyse customer data, including recency, frequency and monetary value
Best practice guidance for analysing data sets to gain customer insights, make suitable marketing decisions and use these for building blocks for future analysis
An introduction to unstructured data, including techniques that can be used to analyse sentiment and some of the challenges associated with it
How to use open-source tools for sentimental analysis and calculate sentiment for an organisation
Using the outcomes of the analysis to inform future marketing strategy and plans

Your Trainer
Sian Davies is a data science and business intelligence trainer with over a decade’s experience in IT and technical roles, in both consulting and industry.
Sian has worked on big budget data warehouse projects and small, agile start-ups, with the common thread of demystifying technology to help business users make decisions based on insights to be found in their data.
Sian has just finished running a data analytics and data science bootcamp with Ironhack Berlin. In 2017 she qualified to lead Tableau Train the Trainer, and the following year built new courses and led public webinars on topics including visual best practices, data preparation and dashboard design. Outside of work Sian enjoys hiking and yoga, she spends most dry days getting muddy in her allotment and is learning the saxophone.
