  • Understand the challenges facing finance functions and how they work with other departments
  • The role of automation
  • The changing role of the finance team (control vs. growth mindset)
  • Explore budget and forecast creation, different approaches and outcomes
  • Using analytical tools: Internal rate of return, net present value, etc.
  • Assessing the quality of financial data
  • Determine the priorities of the other
  • Planning, proposing a justifying spend to a finance team (and its leadership)
  • Risk analysis and presentation

Your Trainer: Jon Pope

Jon is a Chartered Management Consultant, Chartered Manager and a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a qualified coach and assessor and is accredited by the British Psychological Society to deliver psychometric and 360 feedback.

His 40-year career spans the music, leisure, broadcasting, pharmaceutical and consultancy sectors, chiefly in sales and management roles. He has worked extensively in Europe, Middle East, the USA, Far East and Australia.
