Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC)

What is ELC?

If you are a current or ex-military personnel, you may be able to claim financial aid to help cover the cost of your studies.

The Enhanced Learning Credit scheme can be used to fund up to 80% of the cost of your studies, providing you are studying an approved qualification at level 3 or above.

As an approved learning provider, many of our courses can be funded through the ELC scheme.
ELCAS – Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Services

The amount of funding you can claim is dependent on the number of years you have served in the armed forces.

Typically, funding is broken down into two tiers:

Lower Tier: If you have served at least 6 years in the armed forces, you are able to claim a maximum of £1000 per year (for up to 3 years). If you completed your 6 years’ service on/after 1st April 2016 you can claim a single payment of up to £3000.

Higher Tier: If you have served at least 8 years in the armed forces, you are normally able to claim a maximum of £2000 per year (for up to 3 years).

ReAct Redundancy Funding for Training

What is ReAct?

If you reside in Wales and have been made redundant or unemployed, you may be eligible for financial assistance towards gaining a professional qualification.

The ReAct programme is aimed at supporting individuals to gain new skills to overcome the barriers to employment and re-enter the workplace.

If you are looking to study a professional qualification with Oxford College of Marketing, you may be able to fund it through the ReAct scheme.
ReAct Plus Funding

To apply for ReAct funding, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Welsh resident
  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Aged 18 or over
  • Short term unemployed
  • Able to complete your course within 12 months

If you meet the above criteria, you may be able to apply for a training grant of up to £1500 to use towards studying a professional qualification. Please note, ReAct funding is not available for Distance Learning study options.

Iprovision 75 Fund

If you are interested in studying a CIPR qualification, but come from a financially or socially disadvantaged background, the Iprovision 75 Fund can help cover the costs of your training. The 75 Fund provides grants to cover costs associated with either short-term or long-term training, as well as books, online resources, and travel.

The 75 Fund has been designed to support CIPR members at all levels but aims to particularly help early-stage and returning career professionals. The grants are not fixed in amount; each application will be assessed individually by the Iprovision Trustees.

There are four application windows per year:

  • 1st April to 15th May
  • 1st July to 15th August
  • 1st October to 15th November
  • 1st January to 15th February

Applicants are notified of a decision within 3 weeks from the closing date of the application window applied to.

Iprovision 75 Fund

To apply for the 75 Fund, you must:

  • Be a member of the CIPR or be willing to join as part of the process
  • Intend to pursue a career in public relations
  • Have identified your training needs
  • Be unable to fund the costs through employment or savings (some evidence is required)
  • Be unable to get full funding from an employer or other sponsor

Qualifica raccomandata per gli argomenti che si studiano e apprendono, questo è davvero un valore aggiunto per chi vuole lavorare nel marketing. Inoltre mi sono trovata bene con docenti e team di supporto che sono stati sempre competenti, professionali e gentili. Unica nota di cui non sono stata pienamente soddisfatta, uno dei miei tutor a mio parere non sempre è stato molto chiaro, infatti mi sono trovata a dover chiedere chiarimenti sul feedback che forniva perchè sembrava mi desse indicazioni diverse rispetto a quelle generali fornite sul compito, e al completamento non sono stata pienamente soddisfatta dei risultati ottenuti visto che lui mi diceva che avevo corretto bene il compito in base ai suoi suggerimenti, perciò mi aspettavo di raggiungere risultati finali migliori. A questo proposito però è intervenuto il team del college dimostrando di tenerci alla mia qualifica con un risultato soddisfacente, quindi mi hanno proposto delle soluzioni per incrementare i miei risultati finali, e attualmente sto continuando a studiare con loro altri 2 corsi che mi aiuteranno ad ottenere un risultato complessivo più soddisfacente! I recently finished my studies for a level 6 digital marketing and have had a great experience with Oxford college of marketing. My only complaint is that you get a new tutor for each unit and each tutor was asking me to format my coursework in a different way from the last which was quite time consuming and had me worried at times that I had formatted the previous unit wrong. This was only a minor part of my course however and everything else was great from the platform used, support, webinars, downloads and more. I loved how it was manageable to balance with my work which meant I could stay in full-time work during my studies.
