To gain the CIM Marketing Leadership Programme qualification, you will need to complete three modules – two mandatory and one elective module. Each module is assessed by a written assignment.
Contemporary Challenges (mandatory)
This module will enable you to assess emerging market challenges and to develop suitable strategic responses. You will be able to recognise the changing dynamics of the marketing environment and the importance of determining the key business drivers that will impact on business success. You will learn how to adopt creative thinking in order to respond positively and innovatively to market challenges, as well as evaluating any resource implications.
Leading Change (mandatory)
This mandatory module will help you meet the challenges of leading and managing change within an organisation. You will learn how to build a robust case for change-based organisational resources as well as understanding the role corporate culture plays in sustaining change.
Managing Business Growth (elective)
This elective module will help you to determine the potential opportunities for organisational growth that aligns with strategic priorities. It provides a wider view on possible drivers of business growth, before enabling you to focus on a specific industry and your own organisation’s drivers and customer dynamics.
Consultancy (elective)
This elective module will help you to develop consultancy skills, either as part of a larger organisation or as an independent marketing consultant. You will discover how to build a defined consultancy proposition alongside a personal brand. You will also learn how to assess a client’s issues and how to respond by implementing agreed solutions.
Sustainable Transformation in Marketing (elective)
This module will look at the different role marketing plays within an organisation in today’s economy. You will explore the future risks, opportunities and challenges for your organisation that will equip you to make strategic recommendations in the development and implementation of sustainable strategies to drive business change. Finally, you will build a personal development plan around driving change to support you to manage the transition required for ongoing sustainability integration.
