Content Course

To gain the CIM Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Global Marketing, a pass in three modules is required. Two modules are mandatory. These are: ‘Global Marketing Decisions’ and ‘Corporate Digital Communications’, and both must be successfully completed.

The third elective module, ‘Sustainable Transformation in Global Marketing’ must also be successfully completed, in order to be awarded the full diploma. It is this third sustainable-focused module, that differentiates this qualification from the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing.

The CIM Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Global Marketing, is also designed to be flexible, offering distinct standalone awards, if you choose to study and qualify in just one module.

For example, if you choose to study and qualify in the single module, Global Marketing Decisions, you will be awarded CIM Level 7 Award in Global Marketing Decisions.

If you study and qualify in the module, Corporate Digital Communications, you will be awarded CIM Level 7 Award in Corporate Digital Communications.

Similarly, if you study and pass the single module, Sustainable Transformation in Global Marketing, you will be awarded CIM Level 7 Award in Sustainable Transformation in Global Marketing.

Only by studying all three modules, you will be awarded the full CIM Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Global Marketing.

Global Marketing Decisions

In this module, you’ll be assessed on your ability to develop a strategic audit of a global organisation. You will learn the preparation needed to undertake such an audit and how to assess its capability and capacity to deliver across a range of business and marketing strategies, before making recommendations.

Corporate Digital Communications

This module will equip you to critically appraise the corporate brand and the importance of digital communications with corporate positioning and building brand equity. By the end of this module, you will have acquired the management skill to effectively recommend and justify digital channels and tools, to support the corporate reputation.

Sustainable Transformation in Global Marketing

In this module, you’ll look at the current role marketing has to play in our changing landscape of climate crisis and the need to drive a more sustainable future. You’ll learn about future risks, opportunities and challenges, to equip you when implementing sustainable strategies. You’ll also learn how to build these sustainable strategies and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.

The CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Global Marketing is aimed at marketing managers who are operating at a strategic level in their organisation and have at least three years’ management experience.

Many students studying at this level, are graduates or hold an equivalent-degree qualification. Or, they have qualified with the CIM Level 6 Diploma, or equivalent.
